What is Person Centred Counselling
Person centred counselling is a compassionate and collaborative approach that places you at the heart of the process. It’s based on the belief that you are the expert in your own life and have the capacity for growth and change when offered the right conditions. Together, we’ll work in a confidential and non judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely. My role is to understand your experience with empathy, trust and compassion, to support you in finding clarity, healing and a way forward.

Person Centred Counselling provides a safe and confidential space for you to explore parts of you that may have been hidden for a long time. It is just about you and some clients say this is the first time they have experienced a space where they can sit and explore their true feelings and emotions without judgement or expectation. It may feel uncomfortable at times, but as our relationship grows, I hope you will find a sense of relief and value in the work that we do together in order to live a happier, healthier life.

The relationship we build together is at the heart of the counselling process and forms the foundation for meaningful change. I understand that finding the right counsellor can feel a bit daunting. That’s why I offer a free 20 minute initial telephone consultation, giving us the opportunity to talk about what you’re hoping to gain from counselling and how I work. This conversation helps us both decide whether we feel comfortable working together, and we can take the next steps from there.
